We’ve started this group for moms with questions about their food and where it comes from.  You’ll have the chance to meet family farmers and see what they do on their farms every day.  Likewise, farmers will get to know Chicagoland moms and learn what’s important to them as they make food choices for their families.   We’re looking forward to some great conversations about food and families.  

Active Moms' Club was born in 2008 to provide women in Chicago with quality fitness classes that they can bring their children to, so moms can get a great workout without having to worry about childcare. We offer a wide variety of classes from pre-natal to post-natal recovery and strength and conditioning, free wellness workshops and other special events because we believe a healthy and active mom has a healthy and happy family. The Evanston Parents Meetup is for, you guessed it, parents in Evanston with kids from birth - 18 years of age. Some events will be free for everyone, some will have sliding-scale fees, and others will have set fees.  Some events will be for you on your own, for you with your kids, even some just for the kids!  You should join this group if you are interested in meeting other parents and spending time with your children learning new things and being active.
